From humble beginnings

Our story begins long before Saltspring Soapworks did: Four generations ago with a grandmother and a farm. Using beef tallow and ash, she handcrafted soap—a legacy that was handed down to her granddaughter and our founder, Linda Quiring. The simplicity of our beginnings remains the essence of our remedies today.

Nicest soap!

My favourite scent by far! The rosemary and mint are not overpowering but very pleasant. It lasts in the shower without getting too soft. We keep it on a soap dish to drain between showers. I love the scrubby oat bran in the bar as well.

Two VERY wonderful products

I had to order some for myself, because my daughter in law keeps raving about Rosemary + Mint hand wash. I got my order in the mail two weeks ago and it's fabulous ! Lovely fragrance in my big bathroom AND...bonus, i ordered a few bars of soap too. I felt the smoothness right away and the fragrance lasts on my body for hours. I have a sensitive 'smeller', so this is rare for me to love a fragrance like Rosemary + Mint. Quality products that i will order again and again!!!

Being selfish

I recently did some early Holiday shopping and purchased several Rosemary and Mint products, including one soap bar.

Upon arrival I gingerly unwrapped the soap and inhaled the amazing fragrance. It was heaven.

So how, in an act of pure selfishness, I’m order more soap JUST FOR MYSELF. (Don’t tell anyone)

This stuff is amazing it makes me miss Salt Spring Island so much!!
