Cold is the new Haute....
or, Why am I using hand-made soap? We don't really use 'cold' ingredients,,,but we don't boil chemicals together to create our artisanal soaps.
Traditionally, fine soaps were made by hand with oils of Palm, Coconut and Olive.... .those found to be best for skin, health and the environment. Here in North America, a plentiful supply of tallow created a soap industry based on by-products of the beef industry. Next, petrochemicals arrived, and synthetic detergents made their way into our soaps....highly colored and fragranced, 'triple-milled,' we didn't even notice the difference. But our skin did!
For over 30 years, our family has been handmaking soap in small batches, returning to those time-honored methods used a Century ago in Europe where the Art of Soapmaking flourished. Pure Soap, long-lasting and made with care, from Gary, our soapmaker's hand's to yours.
